First post (Discovery of the PACINLAW scam)

Craigslist is a well intentioned classified service. It undercuts newspaper classified, and other online job classified services - which is always a plus in my book. However, I do have some gripes with it. When it comes to Forum and Community postings, I find the moderation system to be entirely lacking. You see, Craigslist allows anyone with an Email account to post, which means that crazy people can spam Sections and Forums by sockpuppeting accounts. No matter how much I complain to the staff, nothing gets done about it because it is far too easy to create a new account and keep spamming. Hell, I just wrote another complaint about it, it took me 20 minutes to gather post ID numbers, and I know nothing will get done. So I pissed away 20 minutes.

One particular scam that I keep running into on the Boston Community Politics Section is called 'PACINLAW' (www.pacinlaw.org). The PAC stands for 'People's Awareness Coalition', and INLAW is 'in law'. All together, it's People's Awareness Coalition in Law. This particular scam is not new, the leader of the site claims it has been around for 10 years. The website is very slick, and part of a webring that includes Notmygovernment.us and Redamendment.net (or whatever). When I first saw it, it looked like spaghetti code, a kludge of javascript and paranoid ranting. When I called the scammer out on it, I mostly made fun of his website not realizing that he forwarded it to the admin and made the corrections. Now, it's a slick website. Damn. I really shouldn't help fashion his weapons.

What is PACINLAW Specifically?

A tax defiance scam.

Based out of Kieler, WI. The group is an offshoot of the Sovereign Citizens movement, which in itself is based on Posse Comitatus, which itself is an offshoot of Christian Identity. This scam espouses that the 14th Amendment created two kinds of citizenship, state and federal, and the federal citizenship is an unlawful scam (via federal taxes, IRS, erosion of "states rights"). They also espouse that the 14th Amendment is illegally ratified, and it shoehorned Communism into America. Basically, pro-Confederate/KKK stuff.

Their main goal is to roll the US back to a pre-Civil War time when slavery was enshrined in some state constitutions, states become their own republic, with limited to no federal interference (mostly anti-fed). To do this, they want you to renounce your federal citizenship by giving them money to "correct" it sight-unseen. All they do is file fake paperwork, and give you a fake certification of State Citizenship. Maybe they'll even give you a license plate that says Republic of SomeState. Protip: If you see someone who drives with such license plate, call the police.

Essentially, such service as citizenship correction is used to defy federal taxes. Most Sovereign Citizen groups attack the 14th Amendment or Uniform Commercial Code to claim that they do not owe taxes. Luckily, they couldn't be more wrong.

Please read up on the redemption scam as well, it's related.

note: There's a huge racial component behind these types of scams. Right wing tax defiance is based on the refusal to be equal to black people (and other colors).

The People Behind the PACINLAW Scam

The spam/scammer is an enigmatic fellow, who had a reputation before I started posting. One way or another, his name was leaked to the internet: RJ Mills. He's a creepy fellow, appears young and impressionable. He may belong to an extremist church, and appears to have a bad case of homophobia (railing against some lesbian lawyer from Somerville, MA.) I can't verify all of this, but I do have his Digg page here, and he really fits the bill. His email address, that he probably uses to spam, is rjmillsbjkl@gmail.com. The ultimate thing to take away from him is that none of his spam is originally his. He usually copy and pastes entire articles on websites and posts it without adding any thought of his own, leaving the PACINLAW URL on the top or bottom. When he does try to argue, he deflects robotically with "You're just Playing the Race Card" and "You're just a Maintainer and Deceiver" (the stupidest thing ever said.). Craigslist Boston /pol/ section is where he spams about 98% of the time, but he has spammed New Hampshire /pol/, Washington D.C. /pol/, and SF Bay Area /pol/ before. Outside of Craigslist, he usually posts on FreeRepublic, Resistnet, and Patriot Action Network.

The leader of the PACINLAW group is named LB Bork, L for Leopold. Also a very enigmatic person. He appears to have authored most of the website and webring. He has a strong belief that the 14th Amendment shoehorned Communism into America, and bases most of his material on existing tax defiance theories. It is not known if he has ever gone to law school, or if he practices law. Honestly, I don't think he has a college education. His face and name are no longer tied to the website, I can't prove authorship unless you want to download the PDF's on the website. His website used to tie in Larry Becraft (an attorney who specializes in resolving IRS issues, had a stroke of good luck one time representing a tax evader), but not any more.

A quick WHOIS lookup on pacinlaw.org/notmygovernment.us reveals the administrator's name as Michael Zingalie, and he's affiliated with a website called rochesterlaw.org, which looks like an online law seminar for Sovereign Citizen types. Essentially, it looks like shit and probably is a waste of money. Browse at your own risk.

It is impossible to renounce US citizenship solely through the mail or over the phone, especially over defiance of taxes. It has to be done in person at a consulate, with citizenship of new country already granted, or about to be granted very soon. All candidates are judged on case by case basis. Living as a resident of state without us citizenship is impossible, as that makes the renouncing person an illegal alien, and subject to deportation. Sorry bro, game over. Proof: http://travel.state.gov/law/citizenship/citizenship_777.html.

LB Bork does not make his law degree known at all. No one knows where he has studied law or if he even has a law degree or a license to practice law anywhere. I'll gladly correct this if someone can prove me otherwise. This makes any legal service conducted by him as suspicious, if not illegal.

Flag #3
Initiating the service requires BLANK MONEY ORDERS to the tune of $450 per individual. That doesn't include any other requirements like memberships ($300 a year) and book orders ("The Red Amendment" is $27.95 per book). Link to the Nationality Correction Form right here, scroll down to the bottom: http://www.pacinlaw.org/pdf/grp/MN_00_Form.php Warning, Adobe pdf.

If you don't know what a money order is, read this: http://www.wikihow.com/Fill-Out-a-Money-Order. There's a reason why I write it as BLANK MONEY ORDERS - I'm yelling at you! Don't be stupid.

Flag #4
The contract LB Bork uses in his "Nationality Correction Form" is easily voidable under his power for whatever reason. There are no refunds (why would he?). This is to "bar" you from taking legal action against him.

Flag #5
Do you really need more? Damn, I always thought the PAC webring was proof enough! Reading one article that leads to another even though they are of the same topic, with bad grammar and a poor understanding of the US Constitution, should be frustrating enough. But if your crazy enough to read all of his website, then you will eventually be presented with the "Nationality Correction Form". (Worth repeating: http://www.pacinlaw.org/pdf/grp/MN_00_Form.php).

Note: save the PDF, LB Bork is scrubbing the website of anything incriminating. It took a little searching to find it.

Keep in mind, no matter what legal scholar/intellectual/court case they cite, no court has never ruled in the favor of the Sovereign Citizen movement. Here's a list of pertinent Supreme Court cases regarding this.

      United States v. Hart
      Risner v. Commissioner
      Maxwell v. Snow
      Rowe v. Internal Revenue Serv.
Heitman v. Idaho State Tax Commission
      Cobin v. Commissioner
      Glavin v. United States

Wow! Talk about OWNED!

Basically, in short: Tax defiance is a serious crime that comes with serious jail time. It is impossible to defy taxes by getting your citizenship corrected. If you do this, prepare to get wrecked by the IRS a few years down the road.

So what should you do about it?
I flag with prohibited. I also try to use the abuse@craigslist.org and the send an email function. I also plan on contacting the FBI regarding this, since they have a vested interest in Sovereign Citizen movements. I strongly recommend that you do this also. Remember that it costs a ton of money to prosecute a tax defier, all paid by the taxpayer. It's cheaper and fiscally responsible to go after these scam artists before they sucker.

So who am I?

I am just another Internet asshole who likes trolling crazy people. I picked a matrix themed handle because Sovereign Citizen types have a huge crush on the Matrix Trilogy (seriously, PACINLAW hosted the entire Matrix trailer and called it the deprogramming video. I can't make this shit up!)

I am a little afraid, because some Sovereign Citizen groups operate like Maoists in Peru (oh, the irony!). They stock pile on guns, clash with society, and hold mock trials of elected officials they capture like they are a legitimate government. So I prefer to keep anonymous for my own safety.

This blog mainly serves to expose these people, and archive my Craigslist posts. I don't always argue well, or politely. So don't point it out. The layout will also change over time.

Enjoy!

  1. "So who am I?"

You forgot, An idiot who lacks critical thinking skills who lumps everything into one basket. You know, someone that who is told what to think.

I do not have to make that up, because that is the bulk of the population.

  2. Oh, have any questions? We can put you in touch with people that have been with us for years and have had great results. The guy who put this defamatory blog up is an idiot who makes things up.

We have started a thread on him. Join the forum and ask questions....

LOL... You are high on yourself. Like I said, you have no idea what you are talking about. PAC does not center on tax issues. Of course you have been told what to think so you would think that. Can you read? It is obvious that you cannot as much of what you stated above is wrong.

You will undoubtedly remove these comments because you are afraid of the truth. People who are weak usually are.

Oh, by the way... I have posted this mental mush you have penned above on your thread... Sorry, your libel is not in any way a threat.

And, regarding what? Following the law? Moron, they know who we are and have for years. LOL

Have them call ahead, and you can come with and maybe they can give you some lessons on libel, fraud, and stalking people.
